I forgot the password to view my files on my samsung e2100b. is their a default password or something?

Samsung E2100B Unlocking Instructions

Warning : Do not enter any wrong unlock codes on your Samsung E2100B mobile phones. If you enter over a certain amount of wrong unlock codes on your Samsung E2100B mobile phone, your phone may get hard locked and sometimes become unusable.
Method 1:

1 - Switch ON your Samsung E2100B with a NOT ACCEPTED SIM Card.
2 - Samsung E2100B will ask for "Password".
3 - Enter the Unlock Code.

OR (if the Samsung E2100B shows "Insert Correct SIM Card")

Method 2:

1 - Switch ON your Samsung E2100B with a NOT ACCEPTED SIM Card.
2 - Don't bother about what's being displayed on your Samsung E2100B.
3 - Compose : #0111*CODE#.

NOT ACCEPTED: I mean, to use a sim card from a network other than the network your Samsung E2100B is locked to.
CODE: Its the unique Unlock Code for your Samsung E2100B.

If method 2 does not work, you can try method 2 again but this time without any SIM card on your Samsung E2100B.

Phone freeze and its locked to telstra network how can i unlock this o i can use vodafone?

Hi,
The freezing of your phone indicates that the operating system on the phone is jammed up,this might be as a result of an internal virus in the phone or due to overloading the Random operating memory.
The solution is to flash the firmware of the phone, this requires high skill and the use of a specialized software compatible with your phone.
This restores your phone back to a normal working condition.

With regards to the locking of the phone, the only way you can use the phone with another network such as vodafone,is to contact your service provider(telstra) and request for the unlock code of your phone which will be given to you for free.

Thanks and good luck!!!!

Forgot my password

PLEASE BACK UP YOUR FILES BEFORE UNLOCKING
This will also bring the phone to default settings
1. First do a CUSTOM reset: *2767*2878#
turn off the phone
2. take out the battery and sim and put wrong network SIM and insert only a half of it,
Very important so it won't ask for network password and shows "Insert SIM" message.(possibly in a different language)
Now put the battery ,and switch the phone on .(phone shows "Insert SIM" message.)
3.push the sim fully in at this stage the phone is still asking to "Insert SIM"
4. Make a FULL reset: *2767*3855#
5. The phone should reboot working with "wrong" sim inside.
6. Make a Change the NCK password to 8 zeros by typing: *7465625*638*00000000*00000000#
7. Now Disable network lock By typing: #7465625*638*00000000#
Phone is unlocked

Phone Freeze Samsung SGH - A401

I have unlocked phones and i think the best way to get your phone unlocked depending on the provider is with a simple unlock code.
Ther are sites like unlocktotalk.com and lockpop.com that offer codes a a goo price.
Most solutions the do a hardware unlock on the phone and replace the firmware with an exploited firmware just have to many problems and are very hard to accomplish. You will brick your phone if your not careful.
Taking the phone to an experienced tech would be wise, considering the cost of a new phone or a repair to fix a screwed up phone.
As for what to do with your phone now, if you want some help explain what you have done and maybe it can be reverse by someone who knows how.
