Sony DSC-T1, will not take any pictures, behaves as if lens cover closed (dark screen). Review mode works fine.

Try to push the reset button it will go back to factory setting ,cause i also have a problem like that

This is known problem of ccd imager chip failure in DSC-T1 camera, ccd imager chip will be replaced to get correct live view in camera mode.

Seems your camera Sony DSC-T1 got bad ccd imager problem, as camera does not show live image to record and shows previously stored pictures fine in playback mode.

When I turn on my sony dsc-t1 image is dark and horizontal lines

contacted sony and they said they are having same issues with many sony dsc-t1 cameras and they are fixing it for free. just have to pay shipping cost and they repair it for free. something internaly I guess.
