How to change video to mp4 4 my sylvania smpk8858

Software for the SMPK8858 can be downloaded with next link:

After the download unzip the zip file.
Explore in the folders for the folder Video Convert Tool:
Sylvania SMPK8858 \ SYL_SMPK8858_DRIVER \ SMPK8858 \ Video Convert Tool .
Install the convert tool by running (double click) the Setup.exe file inside that folder.
That video converter should make the format into the right one, so that it can play them. Good Luck!

smok8858 uses AVI format videos just download them on the internet then drag and drop into your MP3 Player

how to turn off the mp3 player

connect it to u r pc and copy the avi or mpg format files and paste it in the folder called videos in the recognized drive in u r pc

convert the video file to avi format using the converter and put it to u r mp4

Use a converter to convert your files to FLV. Like i said in an earlier post. this is the only way to get them to play opn this player. The instructions and disc that came with it are useless! LOL

The instructions booklet says AVI

This SMPK8858 is just an Audio MP3 player and not an MP4 Video player -
Sorry but you CANNOT PLAY VIDEO on it!
The Audio file formats supported are MP3 , WAV , WMA , FLAC , APE
