On my new camera phone (samsung a737), all of the pictures that i take show up really dark on my phone. I have tried changing the brightness, the contrast, and several other settings for the camera, but nothing seems to work.

Dark screen

While dismantling you have to be careful in handling the display chip. In all probability the supply wire to the display has cracked. There will be two supply wires to the display. Check its continuity. If there is no resistance or continuity, you will have to change the display

Indoor photos are too dark and skin tones orange-ish

I have the same problem at my church with the indoor lighting on my camera. I'm able to get it work by putting the whole thing on manual and adjusting the lighting settings that way.

Dark Pictures in Auto setting

I had the same problem before. Did you check to make sure your exposure compensation wasn't set at a negative number? half press the shutter and rotate the large dial on the back of the camera to change the exposure to 0. If this just changes your auto focus points, you have to change your custom function 13 from a value of 2 to 0 and then try half pressing the shutter and rotating the large dial in the back again. This fixed my problem with shooting in P mode (which I only used when absolutely necessary) and I hope it helps you.

Flash makes my pictures too bright/too dark

u might want to try and put a coffee filter over your flash when you take pictures to make the flash less bright. it sounds really silly but it actually works.
