Restart the HID Human Interface Service. To fix this problem yourself, follow these steps:
In Windows Vista or Windows 7, click Start, type services.msc in the Start Search box, and then press ENTER.
If you are prompted for an administrator password or for a confirmation, type the password, or click Continue.
In Windows XP, click Start, click Run, type services.msc in the Open box, and then click OK.
