Seems to me that if i remember right there should be three (3) pieces to this system. The mouse the keyboard PLUS the wireless interface that connects to the usb port. This has to be connected for the other two devices to connect to the computer and work
Find the third piece and you should be OK top go
Hope this helps

Keyboard doesn't work. mouse is ok battery new

You say the mouse works OK. You also said the battery is new--I take it you are talking about the keyboard battery.
1. Is the keyboard battery installed correctly?
2. Have you pushed the "connect" button on the USB antenna?
3. Have you pushed the "connect" button on the bottom of the keyboard?

If you have done these 3 things, you should be up and running. If not, you might go into the device manager and delete any keyboard there and try restarting the computer to see if the keyboard is detected.

Mouse stopped working all of a sudden; replaced batteries and restarted computer. Light on mouse still not on after pusing the connect button

Your computer also has a connect button. If it is a USB optical mouse, you must push the connect button on the receiver that is plugged into the USB port as well as the mouse (and keyboard if it's all a set) If the mouse receiver is in the PC, like some Sony's...look around for the real tiny reset button..it's there somewhere.
