Why is fridge not cooling?

Did you check to see if the auto defrost mechanism is working? Defrost heater any good? Ice in back of freezer?

Fridge not cold

Check your Model # and Ser#. Probably your Motherboard and condenser fan board. No help from GE but file a complaint 1-800-386-1215. Board # GEA Part no. 200D4860G015 is junk and on every piece of internet writings this board is warranty, however, they(GE) go by the ser# of your fridge. $391 to have A&E come out a replace in 5 minutes. I would recomend working locally.

GE fridge is warm and broken; the freezer is cold though.

Air circulation problem. Evaporator fan in freezer moves some air to refrig. Either fan is not working or air passages are blocked with ice. If ice found, then a defrost component failure has occurred. Fix what you find.

FREEZER WONT FREEZE

Hi, Can you see if there is any frost build up in the freezer? Can you hear the evaporator fan motor running in the freezer? Most common problem is a defrost issue.
Please let me know if I can asstist you further.

Thanks

GE Profile TCC18 Refridgerator freezes Up regularly.

I had the same problem. I changed the defrost thermostat and that has solved the problem. Just to make sure the problem is not recurring I drilled a small hole in the back of the plastic drain(behind the fridge) so that I can put a long screw driver inside to determine if there is any ice build up. None so far after 3 weeks.
