I have a sony NW-E005F (S/N 5045842) network walkman. Whenever i connect it to any computer USB port, it undergoes charging but remains undetected by windows and also by Sonic Stage. I tried checking if its assigned disk name clashes with any of my disk partition names but it happens to be all right. Kindly suggest me the solution as i am unable to download any songs into my walkman. It was working fine for the last one year.

I have a sony nw e305 , same problem no detection and no charging even after it shows tht the battery is charging.. and the walman shows charge error at times...
Try connecting your walkman in the computer, then charge it at the same time.

Please solve my problem of my sony NW-E005F (S/N 5045842) network walkman. This starts charging when connected to USB port but is not detected by the computer. Thus, i am not able to fill it with new songs and am very much worried what if my existing songs in the walkman get erased. Walkman remains undetected on all PC's.
