There are small vertical white lines that slowly get longer down the screen of my Magnavox 42" plasma tv. They can be seen while watching a program or when nothing is plugged into the tv and the screen says "no signal". They seem to grow until they run the length of the screen vertically. They are evenly spaced about an inch apart all the way across the screen. Can this be fixed? Thanks.
This is probably caused by the small signal board. It controls and decodes the picture information before it is sent to the display panel. It can be fixed by a quailified technician and if you contact philips (this is who makes magnavox) they will tell you the closest certified technician. Hope this helps.
