Hello, kindly pull out the silver control ironby the right hand side gently, and you will use it to set it by turning it to the actual time you want, either by turning it right or left, then after you have finally done with the setting, you have to press it in back to make sure it keyed in.you can start making use of your wrist watch as normal.
wish you good luck,

take care.

There is no silver button to pull out on this watch (2 yrs old). I see the new design of this watch has such a button. There are two recessed push-in buttons on either side. These are labeled in the manual T2 (on the left) and T1 (on the right).
T1 switches the digital display between date and seconds and receives the WWVB time signal. T2 (on the left) apparently has 3 functions: (a) indicates the time zone (if pushed for <3sec); (b) Advances the time zone in 1-hr increments; and (c) is supposed to advance the hands when manually synchronizing the watch. How one is supposed to do THIS is essentially my question.
    Thank you.

hello,To set time, press the adjust button. This will cause the time zone
indicator to blink. Cycle through to the city closest to you. The watch
will now indicate the correct time.

    wish you good luck,

    TAKE CARE.

You clearly are not looking at the model watch I have. There are NO cities viewable, only time zones, and, there is no single adjust button, there are TWO recessed buttons controlling functions described in my previous e-mail. What can you suggest?

I have a disallignement of 10 minutes between the digital and the analogical time. The digital time is perfect how can I allign the analogical one?

You have to know that analog time "follows" digital time.Any hour/minutes correction on the display has direct effect on time/minutes hands. Some times, mostly after battery replacement, hands might have declination. That is why there is a function so called "Hands home position adjustment".Using this function you can align both hands to 12/00 position. If there is any declination (I think is your case) you can correct.Try to enable this function by pressing for 4-5 sec the upper left button(A) until "HAND SET" appears. If hands are not aligned exactly to 12/00 position, you must correct by pressing the lower right button (D) for forward movement or the upper right button (B) for backward movement. In fact, minutes hand is aligned, hour hand follows. When both hands are set to 12/00 (home position) press button A again.Time Mode returns to the display.Normally hands will now show exactly according to digital (display) time.I hope this will help.

Quits running and then starts back

I don't know what the trouble is with your watch. I can tell you every watch I ever owned ran 5 minutes behind. No matter when or where I set it nor how often I set it, within 24 hours, it was 5 minutes behind, never 6, never 4, always 5. After years of questions, I just accepted that my wrist watches would always be 5 minutes behind.

I presume the watch is new ... so cleaning is not a realistic problem. Maybe you should return it to the place you purchased it from and see what they have to offer.

Casio 3747 Wave Ceptor is 3 hours 52 minutes behind...

Paste this link into your browser and download pdf file:

http://ftp.casio.co.jp/pub/world_manual/wat/en/qw3747.pdf

Read carefully about Radio-controled time keeping and other related chapters.
If after performing all the required operations your watch still does not work properly, you have some kind of fault in the Integrated Circuitboard and will need to seek for watchmakers help- probably an IC replacement.

Date setting on Citizen 0510 chronograph

Try this method. Set the date until it reads a couple of days in the past and then set the correct time. Of course do not touch your date or time settings between the hours of 9PM-1AM. Wait until the next day, then move the hour hand forward until you reach the current date with the correct time.

Citizen Skyhawk Time Adjustment Problem

It is possible to set the main analogue hour and minute hand 30 minutes out of phase with the digital readout, but doing so will also put the analogue UTC dial 30 minutes off. It can be done by using a variation of the proceedure for zeroing the watch hands as follows: 1. Rotate the crown in its normal opering position to set the watch in chronograph mode (mode dial pointing to "chr") 2. Pull out the crown to the second click. This should cause all the hands on the watch to return to zero. "HR" should appear on the left-hand digital display. This will allow you to move the hour hand by twisting the crown. Advance it to about half way between the 12 o'clock and 1 o'clock positions. 3. Press the top button. "MIN" should appear in the left-hand digital display. This allows you to adjust the minute hand. Twist the crown to advance it to the 6 o'clock, or 30 minute, position. Note that this will also move the minute hand on the small UTC dial to the 30 minute position. 4. Press the crown back into its normal position. 5. Reset the digital time and date according to a time zone that is in a one-hour offset from UTC. This is not a perfect solution. Your digital readings will show the correct time for all one-hour offset time zones while your analogue nads are 30 minutes out of phase. Your small UTC dial will also be 30 minutes out of phase with the digital UTC. Hope this helps.
