Sony SDM-HS75 Troubleshooting

Click "extend the Windows desktop onto this display".

try to perform selftest on the monitor..

1. turn off the monitor
   
2. unplug the video cable from the computer
3. turn on the monitor wihtout the video cable connected to a computer
4. you should see the information box on the screen (it indicates that there is no problem when you see the information box). Else, monitor backlight is dead.
   

Try this:

Under the menu options, there's Menu Lock. Switch it to "On". It worked for me.
My menu button wasn't working, so to access the menu, I had to hold down the arrow up button and push the arrow down button till I got to the Menu Lock Option.

Sounds like you need a new backlight. Check lcdparts.net

I HAVE ONE SONY MONITOR MODEL SDM HS75.
IT IS SHOWING LED BLINKING FAST NO DISPLAY IF CAN ANY BODY HELP ME TO SOLVED MY PROBLUME.
