Says "file sys err" and cant figure out how to reset all of it

reset it.there is asmall hole in beck insert in it pin and press lightly to click.turn it on and goto setup,format and then reload it.

What I can recommend would be 1. Go to your computer   2. Have your video player plug into the computer, 3. when it shows up in my computer RIGHT click you mouse   EXAMPLE  []![] <--   4. If it might take some time to show options sometimes not   After having the options  CLICK in " FORMAT"  and just click Start....BEFORE YOU CLICK  START IT WILL SHOW A WARNING MESSSAGE OF IT WILL DELETE EVERYTHING  .... AGAIN EVERYTHING !!!!! IF YOU DONT WANT TO BE ALL DELETED THEN I CAN NOT DO MUCH MORE TO HELP YOU   GOOD LUCK .

hope u got this fixed but if not i know where you can go to cobyusa.com and put the model number in product search the click firmware and download to ur desktop. open it up and u will have 24 grey boxes then plug in the mp3 and clik the firmware button right below box 24 one there is a green check in box 1 then its fixed and u can disconnect it and re add ur files

Download that. It contains a firmware update that is meant to fix the "file sys err" problem. I got it directly from the Coby website and it works perfectly.

Go to the Coby website, look for your model player.On the that page there is an option to download latest firmware and the video converter.Download the zip file for the firmware.PLEASE NOTE...when you unzip the file please read the pdf file for instuction before you try to click the actual firmware file.One important reason is because using the firmware update restores your player to manufactures default and deletes all files presently on it....So my advice back up your files and read the instructions carefully.This fireware update is specifically to fix that sys err problem.

not responding the coby mp3 550-1g player on my computer

the file system seems to be damaged ... format and reload ... and if possible upgrade the player software
