You will need to remove the covers to get access to the battery. Now these can be replaced by regular types which can be soldered on in series and parallel to match the voltage and current factors. If not you will need to source the original type from the service center support.

When the shaver head light flashes, this indicates that the heads should be changed. You will need the specific model number written on the shaver to select the correct type heads

Needs a new battery. Take out the old one and get the rating (volts and mah) mah =milli amp hours. Go online and get anew battery. Good as new!

Common problem on this shaver. Norelco customer service says if you let the shaver run down until the battery is dead and then recharge it, the unit should reset and the red light will go away, but this has not worked for me. I just ignore the light...

The batteries are soldered to the circuit board with solder tabs. These are not standard chargeable batteries that can be bought at the corner hardware store. The are Lithium Oxide based batteries with solder tabs. These should be replaced by an experienced tech. The replacement batteries must be to spec of the original ones. There is the current rating and voltage rating of the batteries to matched.

Because these chargeable batteries can put out a strong amount of current, if they are not installed properly, there can be safety issues.

Call Philips tech support to be advised about where you can take the shaver to have the batteries changed.
