My wireless keyboard has stopped working

Hi, I have a wireless USB Logitech keyboard and mouse. The keyboard has stopped working.
I have done te obvious things; changed batteries, restarted PC, tried to reconnect to the USB receiver.

I found an internet page that talks about the keyboard being locked and describes how to unlock it, but even that doesnt work.

The mouse works fine through the same USB reciver.

Any ideas?

Thanks

If its a logitech I would definitely encourage you to go to logitech.com and download the software for your devices. Logitech has excellent mice and with their software installed they run real well.

possible rather than a cordless device. -> Go to device manager -> Delete all the USB HOST CONTROLLER -- All of them -- -> The host controller might reinstall them itslef, let the computer handle the reinstallation -> If the computer does not reinstall the host controllers, trigger the detection using the DM function " Scan for

Logitech Wireless mouse.

As a rule the mouse is matched to the keyboard and a new mouse probably wouldn't work with the receiver.
Try this:
Normal 0 Turn the mouse over and find the small rest/connect button on the bottom of the mouse and press it. This should connect the mouse to the receiver and work properly. If not, try pressing the receiver button and then press the button on the mouse. This should be done whenever you change batteries or glitch.
Hope this helps you. Bud

First download and run regscrub xp and ccleaner to clean up your system then try uninstalling and reinstalling the logitech setpoint software and try the keyboard and mouse again. Let me know if this works.
