You will have to shim the scope, use a piece of 35 mm film, It works good, 2 if you need it, if you at extreme measures, you will have to shim the base. You can look through the barrel of a bolt action rifle and see what you will hit at 100 yards, just prop up the rifle in a box or a vise, site down the bore at a target, mailbox, streetlight, then bring the scope to that point, check your barrel again. This will put you on paper at 100 yards. Hope this helps.

I need a manual for my scope

There our manuals all over the place. Have you check your Library, and have you check the internet . I have seen several places that have that book , check E-Bay also they offer some good scoop books. Your going to have to dig a little for it . If I can remember the places that carry them I will send you a message.

I'd call the company. We have no way to find out the size from just the serial number.

Do i have to loosen set screws on turrets to zero scope or do i zero and leave the set screws where they are to shoot at different distances? thx. 6x24x42 varmint with mil dot reticle.

Sight in your scope, Loosen the set screws and zero the dials the re-set the set screws. This will make it easy for you to adjust for distance and wind from the zero setting when in the field shooting. Then you can go back to your zero.

Elevation adjustments do not seem to hold or the scope moves slowly over time. I'm not certain. Windage works fine. Looked at manual on the web and the scope must have changed design because not...

Most of the time a scope that creeps off its zero, has a loose mount screw and or loose mounting ring. Check the mounts all screws. Some times the opposite is true. The mounts are to tight and in a bind. Then during firing the receiver heats up an tweaks the scope enough to cause creep. If the scope is always on zero when cold and creeps off after a few shots, she is in a bind. Make all adjustments to the scope base and rings with a cold gun. Loosen the front ring screws first then re-tighten then loosen the rear doing the same. Then try and re-zero the gun. If the gun never comes back to zero, you end one day shooting hi to the right and try again the next day shooting in the same spot try to re-tighten all screws. Screws from mount to gun then scope rings to scope body.

Dot moves around when looking through scope, if you dont hold exactly perfect every time bullets are everywhere

if the dot is fixed in scope the scope is ok,,,so its down to you to look through the scope the same way every time,,,what your doing is looking through the scope from a different point every time this will cause the point of aim to wonder,,,keep your cheek on the same spot on the stock each shot

I'm in need of an inexpensive timer, preferably mounted in a wallswitchbox, which has two output circuits, one from a n/o and one n/c contact. Can you recommend a model? Thank you

Instruction sheet
Sales sheet

Deihl spa-and-pool timer shows a 15A DPST NC NO timer in sales sheet
Wiring diagrams show DPST.
However most 880's sold are 125V SPST.
Deihl makes 125 V, 24V and 240V models ... but I don't have product sheet that shows all models

I don't see any NO NC wall-timers while looking at: Woods, GE, Intermatic, Aube, Hagar, Leviton, Lutron, Paragon, Pass and Seymour, Swilight, Sylvania, Timex, Tork, UPM, Utilitec

Box timers by Intermatic offer NO NC:
T1900 series
T171

Ordinary 3-way switch is NC NO
Ordinary 4-way switch is NC NO can be wired to control 2 independent circuits

There are heavy load NO NC contactors (relays)
Item 2cg37
You can wire ordinary wall timer to control the contactor

i dont realy understand what you mean by "the cross hairs wont adjust" is it you have ran out of adjustment on the turrets? if so try packing the scope out with 35mm film under the body of the scope and reclamping it,,,or do you mean it just wont adjust?
the tesco rifle scope is a realy cheep scope its a throw away kind of thing if it brakes,,,,there only £50 or so,,,,if it was a £1500 scope its worth fixing
