Change or create Secret Question in Facebook

It appears that the hacker changed the password. Contact Facebook to have them change the password and send the new password to you. However before doing that create a new email account with a secure service, e.g. gmail, and have Facebook sent the new password to that. If you keep your password list on your computer, be sure that you encrypt it with a program such as Meo. It may be that your computer is not secure and a hacker has or had access to it. Good luck.

there is a way in which FB shows a series of pics (which are NOT in your pics) but belongs to friends you have, and you have to identify them... that's proof that the account is yours, and then... logged on you can change password AND phone to notify!, be carefull because your "then", might get acces.!

Facebook does not want you to change your password. Maybe, you would have been introduced to a phishing site that resembles more like facebook, but isn't. When you enter your password into that fake facebook site, your username & password are mailed to the person who created it. He will then use it to do either identity forge or for some fun. So, be careful enough to note the URL www.facebook.com in the address bar, before entering your username & password.

Go into facebook and look for resetting password. There is an option to use your facebook friends for help in resetting it.

When you created your FaceBook ID, you created several "secret" questions and answers.
Correctly answer those questions, and then FaceBook will let you reset your password.

Change your FaceBook password.
Change your FaceBook "secret questions".
Contact FaceBook, to say that you have changed your password.

Also change you password to something more secure to help prevent being hacked in the future.

Your "computer" is infected, not your Facebook account. An educated guess is that the virus is a Trojan and has some type of keylogger with it.

Go to http://www.malwarebytes.org/ and download the free program to scan your computer. After you have removed all virus from your computer, then sign into Facebook and change your information. I would also change information for email and any other online accounts you have logged into since you got this virus. If there is an option to do so, also change your "secret questions" that are used for a password reset.

You should message Facebook and let them know what's going on. They will disable your password, and then have you create a new one.
