You can take the guts out, panel and all and replace the protection screen (PN: TTEA0222). It's quite a job, however, there are only 4 screws typically holding the Plasma panel in place. It's a matter of taking some notes a photos as you proceed through the disassembly process. May take you an hour or two and you will need to keep dirt and dust from in between the new screen and the panel. Also, this is a 2 man job. You need to be very careful picking the panel up. Too much pressure or twisting can crack the panel. I hope this was of some help.

Hello
Your TV is in warranty period I thinks. If so, company is liable and will repair it free fo charge. There is "repair, replace, refund gurantees. Your gurantee card and broshure will tell you that. Look at it.
For what you are going to take the risk.

Tv wont turn on< red power light just keeps blinking?

I have the same thing. Just started blinking 10 times. Pretty much had to unplug the unit over night. Could never turn it off and then turn it on again.
This worked for about a week. This morning, tried to turn it on after being unplugged. Still blinks.
Called Panasonic. they attempted a couple solutions, nothing. Suggested authorized repair shop.

Panasonic TH-42PX75U won't turn on

Your powerboard is damaged, and need to be replaced.

Sometimes it appear the TV is working again with no problem but it is only a matter of time for the board to get completely damaged.

Black 3" vertical line through the center of my Plasma TV

Sounds to me like one of the drivers for the display died. Typically this requires a replacement of the entire panel (expensive) but I'd check with your local repair shop

Screen craked broken screen

Is it a Plasma TV? Are you saying the screen is cracked? do you have a top box cable box? Also, make sure you have your TV input set to HDMI if you have an HDMI cable hooked up between your cable box and TV.
