I have a Sony RDR-VX560 DVD Recorder / VCR Combo, accidentally put it to dvd1 instead of dvd3...ive tried holding the enter button and all that and nothin works..any way to get factory reset or any help?

On the remote press the System Menu botton when opened, press Enter and scroll down to Option and press Enter then scroll down to Command, press enter and you'll find DVD1,DVD2 and DVD3 scroll down to it press Enter set or reset your unit as desired!

See the manual on page 22.
The solution is to reset your remote code to DVD1 (default is DVD3).

Press the ENTER button and NUMBER ONE button simultaneously for at least three seconds. Viola, control returns.

It depends on which DVD you are stuck. Use the following numbers to resolve the problem. DVD1 = 1, DVD2 = 2, Aand DVD3 = 3.

Hold down the ENTER button and the relevant number button (1,2,or3) for more than 5 seconds.

Pressione a tecla Enter e o nº 2 ao mesmo tempo por 3 segundos.Logo após começará afuncionar o System Menu, quando entrar novamente em opcções para escolher o DVD3 ,que é o default ,repita a função de 3 segundos com o enter e o nº 3 e assim começará a funcionar o System Menu com default 3 ativado.
E na página 99 leia a NOTES para ativar a reprodução do DVD em(Y Cb Cr) de HDMI, passando o Progressive para offsua imágem ficará perfeita.

According to Sony, if you turn the power on and hold the Enter key and the #1 key down together for at least 3 seconds, everything will default back to factory settings.

It´s is easy to solve. Your DVD was seted to DVD1. Push enter button plus 1 no remote control.
Now you are able to commnad your DVD and go to System Menu and change to DVD3 again.
After it, don´t forget to backup your remoto control to DVD3. Push enter button plus 3

Try putting fresh batteries in the remote and then:
1. Push and hold "Enter"
While
2. Push and hold "1"
Keep them down for about 5 sec.
Your remote is now in mode 1 and will talk to your RDR VX-525.
In the EZ Setup are you can change the unit back to remote command mode 3 if you wish. The remote will stop working again, but you just have to repeat the setps above using button "3" instead of "1".

press stop button then the power button together the player will go off. put it on again the remote should work.
