notebooks like toshiba's are hardware and software specific. Other hardwares will work but not guaranteed to provide full and satisfying results. Drivers may fix the problem. But I suggest you get a orginal Toshiba LCD

Pink screen on the laptop but when iattach an external monitor it works fine

pink screen is usually a sign of the backlight going bad. Does it go from pink to normal after a while? usually that is the ccfl warming up- but it will need to be replaced- either the whole lcd, or just the backlight (ccfl) part of it.
