Power 1/2 is the same as square root: You can use the square root key to the left of the square key.
Similarly power 1/3 is the cube root. You use the [SHIFT][Square root] key sequence.
Power 2/3 is the square of the cube root, or the cube root of the square.

More generally, you can use the universal power key, marked with X with a raised white rectangle. It is between X square and log.

Ex: Calculate 15^(2/3)
15 [X with raised rectangle] 2 [/] 3 [)] [=]; the result is 6.082
The last parenthesis closes the left parenthesis introduced by the calculator.
Alternatively you can use the cube root and the x-root selections available under the MATH menu.(selections 4 and 5)

My brad nailer will shoot one brad then nothing until I take out and reinsert the brad, then one shot, etc.

Hi Robert:
These tend to be very reliable tools but they do have some quirks.
1) They need to be oiled regularly so if you don't have an automatic oiler, a couple of drops in the air inlet before you connect the first time every day will save you grief.
2) The brads are fed by spring pressure, and the magazine and spring assembly have to be kept relatively clean. Use air to do a decent job. (WEAR SAFETY GOGGLES)
3) The firing mechanism likes a decent amount of pressure, not enough and mis-fires are common. DO NOT EXCEED MAXIMUM ALLOWED.
4) The hammer assembly and slot MUST be clean and not binding. Use the allen wrench that came with the gun and dismantle, clean, and re-assemble making sure that there are no rough bits that are creating the problem.

DISCONNECT FROM THE AIR SUPPLY BEFORE YOU START THIS MAINTENANCE

CHEERS!!!!

My ken wood dishwasher model number is KDW60 S12 and when I set it on cycle 1 hr for lightly soiled loads it takes approx 2and a half hours. Cheers Brad Brown

A great dishwasher! I'm not that familiar with that model but there is probably a logic(computer) board in that model that governs the cycles and it is defective. What you could try is to open the circuit breaker or turn off the power for a couple of minutes to the dishwasher. If it resets properly that may prove the problem. If it works properly after doing that it will be a logic problem and may reset. If it does work it may happen again and the board will have to be replaced. Sounds like an electrical spike (lightning or something similiar) may be the culprit. Just a good educated guess. I would be interested if you could post the outcome..

A 1 1/4" brad nail only penetrates 1/2 inch

Hi, There should be a power adjustment on the top of the driving head. Make adjustments there, and the penetration should improve.
