Yes, push the menu button on the remote and scroll through the menu items until you find the color adjustments. Joe

Who would be able to help me with my t.v? the color settings are messed up

The best way to reset your hardware is to actually contact the Manufacturer. Ask how to reset the TV to FACTORY Settings. Original settings are generally the basic and best method to view TV from the start.

My kids changed the color on my 61 inch RCA and now i cant get it back to normal. Everything thats suppose to be purple is brown and pinks are orange and yellows are pale. Everything else is ok a little...

Someone probably played around with the "Tint" settings in the TV menu. The easiest way to fix it is to go into the TV picture menu and reset everything to the default settings. There's probably one option for "Reset to Factory Default" or something along those lines. Since every TV is different with this, you should read your owner's manual to find how to enter the menu and find the reset button.

Something has happened to the color on my tv. it's lost the reds in the picture. face color is good. pinks, blues and greens are ok. i've unplugged and re-started. how do you go back to default...

Look for color temperature settings under the menu and video settings. If there is an overall factory reset or restore to factory settings, try that as a last resort.

It's not really a problem. I just need to know the color coding of the factory amp to my friends1999 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo. Basically he was so impatient that he had this kid just snip wires not...

I would try to find out who manufactured the amp and try get info from them. If not try searching more on the internet. If it is in a Chrysler or jeep good chance it may be manufactured by infinity.

see if there is a "default" option, if not set everything back to the middle, if the colors are still off you sure its not the convergence?
most big screens allow you to change "color temperature" it's like a default adjustment for 3 different brightness levels.... ie...COOL, WARM picture will show obvious changes in brightness

Color setting

MOST likely, use remote [maybe set] for <menu[setup]> <video>. This is normally where <brightness><contrast><color> and so forth live.

Color messed up

Most likely your visitor turned one of the controls located on the back of the TV. There are only two controls they are the right side of the set in the back. The top one is the focus and the bottom one is the SCREEN control. You can carefully rotate clockwise the screen control until the brightness is back to normal. If you go to high with it you will see faint diagonal lines going accross the picture.

Samsung tv clicks and turns off and off in a cycle, you can see smart tv logo for a very small time before tv turns off again. Hey, so I have an issue with a Samsung tv un55ru7100fxza. It has this clicking sound and it’s in a cycle of turning off and on, you can see the startup logo for just a second before it turns off and on again. Almost every video I’ve seen so far talks about checking for bulging/ leaking capacitors but all the capacitors look fine and the solder joints on the back aren’t cracked or darkened. Next step is to take out each individual capacitor and test them which I really don’t want to do at all but I need to find the issue. I tried plugging in different boards to see if a particular board was causing it and I noticed that when I unplug the t con board the clicking stops and the tv stays on and I can manually turn it off, then I try and keep the t con board in and just unplug the 2 connectors that goes into the panel and the clicking continues, I feel like I need to replace the t con board but when I look up the symptoms of a t con board failing the tv just has fading or color distortions which I don’t have. So I’m kinda confused on why it would only click when that board is plugged in, if it was capacitor or power board issue wouldn’t the power board be clicking even if everything was unplugged? Awhile ago it’s done this but only for about 3 min then it worked fine and even for a week or two, but now it’s always doing it. I don’t know what to do since everyone I contacted wants hundreds of dollars to fix it. Is there anything else I can try?
