Narayanamoorthy V V S Voonna Posted on Feb 27, 2010

I have windows 7 Operating system installed on Intel Original D865GBF motherboard. The processor is 3.2GHZ. Ram is 2 GB dual channel (!GB x 2). I have added a graphic card PNY Ge Force NVidia 6200 AGP. The BIOS and Chip drivers are latest. I am not able to install the drivers for the AGP. Windows 7 loads the latest drivers automatically. After installing the drivers system demands for reboot. After reboot I am getting blue screen. In safe mode I am disabling the drivers for normal boot. The system is running with Standard Graphic display drivers now. The is no help coming from PNY. I have tried with similar card and there is same problem. This card works fine with ASUS P5P 800-VM motherboard. Can any one help? Thanks in advance

Sounds like yo had the same Probles that I had with my 5200 geforce The install did not go well. what was happening was the direct x was binding to the old mother board graphics system and not the new card . to make it rebind just change the refresh rate in the nvidia icon in your task bar . disable the display adapter from device manager for the motherboard graphics .put the card in the slot change the montior cord boot up check you direct x by typing in run dxdiag and test directx to be sure it is runing with your card you can also see that fron the about nvidia you must have the driver for the card installed to do all this.. hope I helped

Will windows 7 run on my intel D945GCNL motherboard?

hello aravthebj, yes it can be done. when u need to install OS, first thing u need to know is system requirements, not motherboard specification.
Windows 7 minimum system requirements is: - 1 GHz Processor or higher - 1 GB RAM (32-bit) or 2 GB RAM (64-bit) - 16 GB available hard disk space (32-bit) or 20 GB (64-bit)
check your processor and your RAM specification, if its fulfill that requirements then u can install Windows 7 on your PC.
if u need more information about Windows 7 then visit this site: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows7/products/system-requirements
hope this useful, regards.
