No tones when someone text me or call me it doesnt have any tones, but its not in silent mode.

There is problem inside ur phone, two things are possible first the ringer itself is spoiled second ringer is not getting any signal to ring, it need to repair so take it to any technician.

Only advice I have is to set custom ring tones for everyone in your contact list. Then set your main tone as silent. When someone in your contact list calls it will ring with the tone you manually set for that contact. When someone not in your contacts calls it will be set to silent.

You probably have silent mode on. Try pressing and holding the pound or the star key. One of those will probably release silent mode, so that whatever ring setting you have can be used.

How to deactivate silent mode of SGH-E250 model
Press and hold the # button until it tells you its on normal mode. If this still doesnt work go into settings, profile settings, then i think it will be general and change the ring/message tone as it must be on off..if that makes sense. hope i helped.
