Chronograph hands reset to wrong places

I have a citizen eco-drive calibre 5700 and the chronograph second and minute hands are set wrongly, so when re-setting to zero, the minute hand is at -2 and the second hand is at 58secs rather than at the top. It happened once in the past and i remember the jeweller pressing a combination of buttons to move the hands into the correct possitions, but i can't remember now how this is done. Can you help?

The second hand doesn't move . i tried pushing the buttons in the chronograph mode, the time mode and nothing. i have a citizen eco-drive BL5260.

I assume that you do not have any instructions for this watch.
If you enter "www.citizen-signature.com/#/settings/" you should arrive at the page for your watch.

You can download the manual or look at sections.

The chronograph will only run for 59 minutes 59.95 seconds.

If you do not have a set on instructions for your watch, you can find one on their web site (citizen.com)

When there, click on "technical support" and the on "setting instructions" and fill in the number off the back of your watch.

I own a Citizen Eco Drive Calibre 8700 Blue dial Romen letters. I have not used it for very long time (6 months). Now when exposed to light only the second hand works but the minute hand and hour hand do...

If your watch was not stored where it could have light shining on it the LI battery would drain completely. There is a possible solution although it does not work all the time. It depends on how badly the battery has been allowed to drain.

Setup a lamp that will shine on a counter 24 hours a day and set your watch there. It helps if the lamp is about 1.5 - 2 feet above the watch. A 60 watt incand. lamp will work fine.

Leave your watch under this lamp for 3 - 4 days 24 hours a day. This will supply the solar cells with enough energy to recharge the battery and get it working again. If after this time it is still not working then the battery is just not going to accept a charge again or there is something else wrong that a watchmaker is going to have to fix for you.

Hope this helps.

Second does not reset to 12

You should be able to solve this by pulling out the Crown(the one with which you set your normal clock), Pull it out in the 2nd stand.
Then by pushing the 'start/stop' button --> you change the minutes.
By pushing the 'lap/reset' button --> you change the seconds

It worked for me, took me a few minutes to figure it out, i hope this saves others the time of doing that :p

My boss has a Citizen Eco Drive Skyhawk watch . . . how in the world do you set this thing? Every time I try, the second hands goes buck-nutty and spins around the dial a million times, then goes...

good morning ! to set the Eco Drive Skyhawk citizen watch, full the crown carefully wind it slowly until you reach the correct time after that push the crown back to normal possition, if the hand is turning back to the wrong time just press the button on the up side until the turn to the correct time, thank you ! god bless !...
