Thin red lines

My digicam on "camera mode" is showing thin red lines all over.. and this happened overnight! what do you think the problem is? how long will it take to repair it?

This sounds like it might be a defective CCD imager. If so, Sony should fix this for you for free, including free shipping both ways. This is regardless of your camera's warranty status. Please check the following link for more info:

ders no point in getting the camera fixed, it happened to me a while ago n wat i paid to get the camera fixed would of got me a new camera,the camera was never the same again after getting it fixed,not sure about photos but if u bring dem to photo printing shop and explain to dem im sure theyl figure out a way to save ur photos! hope this helps:)

My camera DCR-TRV285 is showing error and playback or recording is not working

When there is error you cannot really operate the digicam in normal. Make sure that there is no jam in its mechanism or there is no dew condensation happen in your digicam. If there is not then reset the digicam on its factory setting. To do this, go to menu, navigate it find, the factory setting, choose it and see what happen. Also you should be certain that the unit is clean inside. I hope my advice help you solve your problem.

No flash Samsung ES55 cam.

Hu,
Just set your digicam to always flash whenever take photo rather than auto or red eye reduction modes. It will keep your flash when take photo.
If it is not work, then your camera has problem on board and need repair at dealer or local shop.

I think the problem is in matrix. Try pixel remaping. Usualy you need make remaping every 1 year. At the botom menu goto "Pixel Remaping" and press.

if lines are visible only when using in camera mode.The camera might have a CCD imager going bad or lens ribbon , connector problem .If lines are NOT visible when using playback mode.Then problem should be in lens area(CCD)..
