Transcend v series 30 2gb pen drive

It is possible that the memory was damaged or is infected with a strong virus malware that does a block on detection to the PC. try the same on another PC which has a good protection and if this works there are faults on your port or the PC is infected.
If the drive is still not detected then the memory is faulty even after you try to format on any PC.

try to format it.
go to controle pannel > admins tools > disk managmen >> device managment, right click ur flash drive and choose format.
or u can downlaod "hp drive key"

see if you can format it if not it is bad

if you are using windows 98/95 then you must have drivers installed.Otherwise do as follows: first insert your pendrive.Now right click on my computer.Go to manage option . select disk management. From that you must select your drive letter for your pen drive.Go to Action menu near to File menu.Fromthat select all tasks and select formatting.Then again goto all tasks and select change drive letter and paths.select the drive letter and your problem is solved. thanks for asking your problem.

Hi the problem u are facing right now in ur pen drive is due to virus infection in ur pen drive. Whenever u insert ur pen drive to a pc it will ask for this"Disk is not formeted & do u want to format it" option.. To solve this problem format ur pen drive by right clicking and selecting format option or scan ur pen drive with updated version of antivirus...

its probably a virus trying formating on windows 98 or on linux based system may work for u also check when the pen drive isnt connected properly or the usb port or connection is loose it may say a read only pen drive due to slow speed connection of pen drive to computer
