Canon PowerShot A530 Digital Camera Logo

When turned on, my Canon Power Shot A530 has a message that says N imagen, it does not prepare the lens for pictures, just stays with the black screen and the N imagen message.... do you have a solution?

Try to change your SD card else There is an external software which you can install in your memory card and then you can insert it in your camera and if it does not work then go to canon service provide

Check Memory data overloaded.> Try to reset your Phone to feel better to take picture .
Pressing fully releases the shutter.
>You will hear the shutter sound when the shot is complete. Do not move the camera until you hear this sound.

Not capturing pictures

A stuck shutter is another common failure mode for digital cameras. The symptoms of a stuck or "sticky" shutter are very similar to CCD image sensor failure. The camera may take black pictures (for shutter stuck closed), or the pictures may be very bright and overexposed, especially when taken outdoors (for shutter stuck open). To confirm a stuck shutter, put the camera in any mode other than "Auto", and turn the flash OFF (you don't want to blind yourself for the next step). Next look down the lens and take a picture. You should see a tiny flicker in the center of the lens as the shutter opens and closes. If no movement is seen, then you likely have a stuck shutter. If so, please see this link for further info and a simple fix that may help:

When turned on it says N imagen and it does not open the lens to take pictures, checked batteries, they are ok and checked memory card, also Ok.. problem?

if you can access your menu look for language & chainge it to english if it's not now then you will understand what it's telling you try video to

Lens errors are fairly common. Usually it's sand or grit interfering with the lens extension mechanism. Or the camera's been dropped with the lens extended. Or the camera has been powered on, but the lens had been blocked preventing its extension. Or the battery ran down with the lens extended ...

Here are some things that you can do to try to correct it. They only seem to work for less than 40% of the lens errors, but if the camera is out of warranty, or if repair costs close to the value of the camera, they're worth a try.

Here's some things that you can do to try to correct it. They only seem to work for less than 50% of the lens errors, but if the camera is out of warranty, they're worth a try:

Canon Power Shot S1 IS

canon has a recall on this camera. call them and they will send you a box to send it back. If you are one of the lucky ones the will send you a canon s5is back...really nice camera

then try this way.

when you are aiming the object press the DISP or DISPLAY button in the camera.

your LCD must turn ON.
