Hmm,
while plugged up to a usb to computer it might be blank...
I would plug it up and go to "my computer" and find the drive (usally the last letter like g) and find folders and and open them and store the pics to the hard drive.
if the camera is blank screen always... you got a problem with the camera.. I need more info.
like when this happened and if you dropped it?

accessing them on the lcd screen? do you have a lcd viewfinder too? might be in that mode.
"lcd blank always" might and be the ribbon cable to the pc board came out but since you didnt drop it might of been loose at the factory since so new and just fell out later, need to open it up and look.. bad lcd are usally muticolored black and gray.. or cracked ..but then again you didnt drop it. check that cable.

reply to Crazy Larry. i got the camera on the 6th of Feb this year, it stopped working on the 8th of Feb. i havent dropped it at all. when i try to switch the camera on, the green light comes on but the screen stays blank, i cant access any of my pictures or videos. the batteries are full so i know thats not the problem, to be sure i bought new batteries and tried them out as well, and still the same blank screen. thank you very much for youre previous help Larry, very much apprieciated, hope my information can help you find the solution
