did you try uninstalling completely by removing all the trace files and then downloading a newer plugin? you can do that at this linkhttp://tricia8765.fatcow.com/flashplayer... or another option is to restore your computer to the time before you moved it under your system restore

SOURCE: i cant install adobe flash player

Flash player comes in 2 flavors. One for Win XP and Vista and another for the rest of the win OS. If you have the wrong match for your OS it won't install. Go to AFP download page read around the download Icon and it will have a link for older Win OS...if you have one of them click and download AFP for your OS.

Bbc iplayer wont work afaiter adobie air update .lost my downloads plus wont play any programes just blank screen

Hi Mark, I understand it's something to do with Air version 3.5
I think the interim workaround was to roll back to version 3.4! (if you can find it)
However, can I suggest 2 workarounds?
1) Download your programs for playing on Windows Media Player selecting it from the 'other download options'
I use this method myself, and it doesn't seem to be as hungry for system resources as does iplayer.
2) If you have your computer set up with 'system restore' enabled, then you can roll your system back to a date prior to when you did the Air update. Then, DON'T allow the Air installer to update again :-)
Best wishes!

Flash player not installing

1) Check the settings of your anti-virus program. A lot of times an anti-virus program will not let a program download.

2) The main thing with Adobe Flash Player, is that it will NOT install a new version of Flash Player; with an old version present.

And it will NOT automatically delete the old version.

Use the Adobe Flash Player Uninstaller tool.
Then go back to Adobe Flash Player Support, and download AND install the newest version of Adobe Flash Player.

Adobe Flash Player Uninstaller tool,

http://www.adobe.com/support/flashplayer/downloads.html

Go down to the bottom of the page, where it states in bold print -
Adobe Flash Player Uninstaller
Click on the blue - Tech note - in the paragraph.

Takes you to here,

http://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player/kb/uninstall-flash-player-windows.html

Scroll down to -
1. Download the uninstaller for Flash Player
Click on the blue - uninstaller - underneath the above heading. [Uninstaller (674KB) ]

A small window will come up. Click on Save File.
A small download window will come up.
Allow the file to fully download, then DOUBLE-click right on the file name.

At the bottom of the next 3 small windows, click on Next, Next, and Finish.
If you are not asked to restart your computer, do so.

When Windows loads back up again, go back to Adobe Flash Player Support, download and install the newest version of Adobe Flash Player.

You tube vidoes wont load

1) Make sure your Adobe Flash Player is up to date,

http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/

[ Advise click on the small square to the left of -
Yes, install McAfee Security Scan Plus - optional
,and remove the green checkmark. THEN click on Download now ]

Be advised though, sometimes the new Adobe Flash Player download, will not automatically remove the old Adobe Flash Player version that is installed; and the Adobe Flash Player Uninstaller Tool is needed.

http://www.adobe.com/support/flashplayer/downloads.html

Go to the bottom of this page. Under the bold subheading -
Adobe Flash Player Uninstaller - click on the blue - Tech Note.

On the following page go down to the subheading -
1. Download the uninstaller for Flash Player -
,and click on - uninstaller - in blue. (674 KB)

In the small window that comes up click on Save File.

Close all internet windows.

In the small download window that comes up next, allow the file to fully download, then DOUBLE-click right on the file name.

When you are finished with the Adobe Flash Player uninstaller, close all windows, restart the computer.
Now go back to Adobe Flash Player Support, and download the new Adobe Flash Player.

2) Make sure your Java is up to date,

http://www.java.com/en/

3) Sometimes I have found, that you have to click on Pause for the video, and allow it to download for a bit, then click on Play.

Flash player problems -XP

Hello,

You can uninstall Flash Player from Control Panel/Add Remove and then in FF you can go to Toos/Add Ons from the menu bar and if Flash Player is still listed , click on uninstall.

Once it is uninstalled use a Registry Cleaner to mop on data debris before proceeding further. If you need one let me know I'll send you a link.

Let me know if you get stuck doing this or let me know when you're done by commenting back and I'll guide you further.

Regards,
Worldvet
