Fisher-Price Kid Tough Digital Camera Logo

The red arrow shown on the moniter seems to be stuck on the red dot. The camera will not take pictures. How do I get the arrow to point to the green dot. I have changed batteries. Fisher Price kids digital camera

This just means that the memory of the camera is full. Plug in an USB cable or delete some pictures, then it'll work.

Black dot on my screen about the size of an unsharpened pencil's point. My camera is Olympus 790. The dot id on the pictures when printed and the screen.

The solution you can try is to run a function of the camera called Pixel Mapping to see if this removes the dot as it will redistribute the pixels of the camera on the LCD screen. To access this function - have the camera in shooting mode - go to Menu - right arrow to setup and press Ok - down arrow to pixel mapping and right arrow over to highlight start and press ok. The camera will try to repair itself. If after running this the dot is still there then you may need to send the camera to Olympus for service as the image processing chip may need to be replaced. http://olympusamerica.com/cpg_section/cpg_servicerepair.asp

G1 phone camera doesnt take pictures

As the others said, there are the two settings. I had a similar problem, then realized how it worked. You need to not press very hard while it focuses first. Then you can press all the way down, if you hold it all the way down, it doesn't recognize that you've already passed the first "Focus" pressure point and gone into the second "Capture" pressure point.

Camera wont take snap

Because the camera has Mechanical Focus the camera button has 2 Pressures, Holding The first 1/2 of the button press will enable to Mechanical Focus to work, And then once the green dot is shown telling you its in focus, pressing the button all the way down will then take your picture !

Camera powers on like it is going to take a pic then lens retracts

On my EX-Z750 there are two buttons on the top rear, one a right-facing green arrow with a green box around it, the other a red camera icon. If you turn on the camera and accidentally hit the green arrow button you will only be able to review the shots already on the camera. To return to taking pictures, push the red camera icon button.
