Mp3 player wont play movies

Every time i use the converter, and convert the files to avi, it still says that i cant play them because the format is wrong the make of the mp3 player is nextar and the model is MA797
the users manual says it only plays avi files

Avi is a container format which includes of many codecs, u can try to check which codec is supported and use some other codec.

Mtv video converter

Hi...

If you want to put movie in your mp3. be sure that you know what is the file type.For example the file type of movie in your mp3 is AVI, so you need yo convert your movie to AVI format, because if it is not an AVI,it wont play because they are not in the same format required

Can't find it for my favorite vidios

I'm not sure that I fully understand your question, but if the video converter that came with your mp3 player is having a hard time detecting video files that are stored on your computer, download a free program called Riva FLV Encoder. Convert any video files to AVI format using Riva. Once they are converted to AVI, your video converter should now detect and convert them. Hope this helps!

Cant get movies to work

these are the formats most mp3/4 players use
SMV,avi, wmv, mp4, 3gp, wmv, flv, MPEG-1 and MPEG-2, mpg,avi, asf, mov, rm, rmvb, flv, mkv, mpg, 3gp, m4v, vob But yours seems only to be able to play mtv video files.

This was the only convertor I could find for yours You might want to see if the if Coby has any free software downloads for conversion.
