My element GC-820 mp3 player
Hello
First of all hit the reset button for about 10 seconds and the player should do a hard reset.Now try turning it on again.
If it still wont start up then connect the player via usb to a computer,you should see your player in the list of devices in "My computer" right click on it and select the format option,this will wipe your player.
Visit your manufacturer website's support section and download the latest firmware for your device,save the file to your computer and connect your device to the computer and update your firmware
How do i put it
try going to the setup menu on the mp3 player and clicking on replay.
How do I make the Element GC-820 shuffle music?
There is an Element Owner's manual on this site if you go all the way to the bottom and click on manuals when you first enter this site. I have read from reviews that this manual is not very user friendly but it will have what you are looking for.
I have an element mp3 player and i don't know how
Hey, I just got one of these as well. They're kind of.... not the best ;) .
Anyway, to turn it on, press and hold the large circle button (play) until the element screen comes on. Then press the "mode" button to get to music. Remember that there are only the "mode" button/switch and the "play" button to switch functions. The other two buttons don't do much.

The following may help:
- Ensure that your Music files are of the correct format (usually .MP3 or .WMA suffix and usually NOT .WAV which is the standard CD format).
- Ensure that you upload your music .MP3 or .WMA files to the correct directory and names are not excessively long as some MP3 will limit the max name length. If you know a working song on your MP3, locate the directory it resides in and put your songs there.
- Lastly, if you have put your song with the correct naming convention/suffix and you now see them in your player list but they will not play, then your MP3/WMA file has non-compatible 'property' whcih is usually the encoding 'bit rate' (usually anything under 128mbps fix rate is good but you can see what is acceptable by looking at the 'properties' of your working songs that are on your MP3 player)
I recently got an element mp3 player and put music
You have to be playing a song, after that press in on the scrolling button at the top, go to "Repeat"and then scroll until you see "Normal"and you will be able to listen to all music without it repeating.
My GC820 is not working
The firmware does not need to be updated. After a mode is selected by moving the mode slider switch left or right then depress that same mode slider switch like a button. When the mode switch is used to change a mode but one does not press it in to select it, that is when the play button changes colors.

I downloaded music but it won't play
You plug it in then go on to the internet and download Tune4mac ALSO FOR PC then once downloaded you open itunes and add all the songs you want on it then go to file then library then burn play list to disk then change blank cd to tune4mac then weight till done then just drag to mp300 mp3 player and done
