Output voltage Mordaunt Short MS308

Most makers specify the transformer as a safety part which can only be replaced with a manufactures specified part. Contact them for the correct part. If you can't get one from them, then replacing it with a none recommended part, could pose a fire risk.

What could cause Transceiver to shut when power output is increased over 40 watts?

My first guess would be that you have a bad/poor antenna,coax, causing high reflected power, next would your power source. You will need a 25A or higher rated power supply, with clean 13.5V power to run at the higher power levels. Meter the power supply voltage when you xmt at a lower power level, maby 30w, watch for drop in voltage. If voltage drops (some) at 30w, most likely supply won't hold voltage up at your 40w and higher power levels.

Trying to order battery and new power supply for computer 96254

Without the Make, Model of computer It's difficult to help. But a word of advise, Beware of inexpensive aftermarket Batteries and cord/chargers. They sometimes , at best, do not work properly, a worst, can be a fire hazzard. It's cheap for a reason. Be sure to buy the EXACT power specs, Voltage, Amperage. Look to the Laptop Manufacturer for exact replacement. They may be pricey, but , in the long run a better bet.

I bought a new panasonic home cinema model number sc-pt480eb-k. Its supposed to be 1000 watts but the output it doesn't match that output at all even with all the speakers on. What maybe the cause of this...

It would be a miracle indeed to extract 1000 watts of sustained power in any form, be it heat, light, motion or sound from a unit that uses anything less than 1000 watts of electricity, assuming 100% efficiency. Not to mention the dreadful 10% distortion level they use to get that figure.

To say it pushes 1000 watts is dishonest and preys on the gullible.

I Just recently bought this have it hooked up to my Computer through a Digital audio Coaxial cord . The problem is this 600 - Watt system is emitting less power than the 300 watt one it replaced that was...

Audio power is relevant only between the amp and the speakers. Check the volume setting of the source and any audio settings in the PC.

SPDIF is not Red and White. If anything it is a single coaxial RCA connector.

Wattage specs for comparison are pure fiction at this level. 10% distortion fudges the number upward.

I need a new power cord for a dell inspiron mini 10 netbook. I THINK it is a 30 watt cord but am not sure. Can I replace the cord with a 65 watt cord?

If you are talking about the battery charger + power cord combination for your laptop, the yes. A 65 watt will charge your batteries faster, and also provide enough power for a docking station and external monitor, if you have them.

Using a 65 watt charger instead of a 35 watt one will not harm your laptop in any way.

There really isn't a lot to a power amp to be operated. This one differs from most in that it has an input level control and VU meters.

Dynamic 150 + 150 Watts Power Output, Generous High-power Design
The Spec-4 employs DC construction which excludes capacitors from the NFB circuits and uses a dual transistor differential amplifier with a current mirror circuit in the 1st stage. Completely Independent and Perfectly Stable Left / Right Power Supplies
The mighty power supplies are completely separated for the left and right channels. Also, each channel is provided with two 22,000uF large-capacity electrolytic capacitors and large transistors with a superior regulation. They achieve outstanding channel separation and a clear, powerful reproduced sound, in addition to the wide frequency response. There is a built-in surge killer circuit to suppress inrush currents from the power transformers and high currents which charge the electrolytic capacitors. This circuit ensures that none of the parts are affected by these adverse currents.
Protective Circuits Composed of Fast-response Relays and Electronic Circuits
Each channel is protected by a DC and over current detection relay circuit. In the event of the speaker terminal shorting due to poor connections or when DC current is generated in the output, the output circuit is immediately disengaged and the speakers and transistors are safeguarded against any possible damage. The protective circuits also function as muting circuits when the power switch is turned on and off.
Peak Level Meters with Outstanding Waveform Response
This power amplifier incorporates logarithmic compression peak meters with a wide scale (-40 -+3dB). With 8-ohm speakers, they allow the output to be read out from 0.01W to 300W. Moreover, the meters feature a fast response for peak signal indication. In addition to the peak output reading, it is easy to interpret the dynamic margin with respect to the SPEC-4’s clipping level.
Input Level Controls with dB Calibration
The SPEC-4 is equipped with input level controls with direct readout attenuation values (-dB). These can be used to continuously adjust the input levels for each channel in accordance with the rated output voltage of the preamplifier. In this way, the SPEC-4 can perform the proper gain control according to the preamplifier’s output level. The preamplifier will thus be used in the condition possible for the best S-N ratio and distortion characteristics.

Just as you would expect from a sophisticated system, the SPEC-4’s front panel is professionally designed with the large level meters in the center. Also. The front panel’s dimensions allow the model to be mounted in an EIA standard rack, just like real professional-use amplifiers.
