Does this cleaner heat up the water for steam? It is called a steam cleaner, but I do not see anything about how to regulate the temperature of the water to make the steam and so no one gets burned.

Steam is steam is steam - it has a temperature of 212 degrees F and if you go any lower it is no longer steam - condenses back to water. Capiche? If you pressurize the steam you can then raise its temperature to a super heated condition. How do you think a pressure cooker works??????

My h20 steam mop dripping water from small hole underneath

Stuff bought from "As Seen On TV" are, generally of very bad quality, would even say, thet are scam! Parts to are not available and actually no one knows how to repair them.
OK, just my personal experience and opinion; decided not to buy anything from thwem any more..

Have shark steam cleaner. Brown sticky smelly water started coming out after using 5 or 6 times. Nothing has been added to water.

add some white vinegar in the water let it boil them empty and repeat about 3 times , when you finished using it always make sure you empty it..

I have a an older S3300W steam cleaner. I lost the cup that measures the correct amount of water to add to the steamer. How much can I safely add

add half a pint at first see how that goe ,and just add a cup full till you get it right

My hoover steam cleaner will not put down the soap solution? Any suggestions!

The line may be clogged.
If you look in the tank see anything blocking?
No? Okay moving on. You may need to remove a cover or covers.
Find the lower end of the line / tube.
Carefully remove the line.
Now with safety glasses on take a can of air, and blow the the line & sprayer out. Replace all parts you removed.
In the tub, shower or outside. Add vinegar & distilled water to tank let set for 1 hour then see if it will work. Let the water go down the drain or outside. If this don't work you may have a bad sprayer switch.
Please let us know.

the one for the microwave needs to have 7 oz of water, and goes in the micro for 5 mins and it has a color changing sticker on it the lets you know that it is done

Unscrew the top as far as possible (unfortunately, no more than an inch is as far as it will open) and slowly pour water into the gap between the lid and the body of the steamer.

I just bought one (Model 1004) and had trouble with the cover. Unfortunately the directions do not tell you that you need to press down on the cover while turning. It takes several turns but it should eventually come off. Then add a max of 150 ml (~ 1/2 cup of water).
