Please Help me

The image sensor is defective. There is no quick fix other than replacing the image sensor.

I do not know the solution Yet, I have the same problem on a canon A430 and a canon A460 ,after 1.5 Years of use,very strange they are like time-bombs
I ordered the flex cable of the shutter unit,but it is not arrived,
I will let you know the results

See manual ,reset setup to factory default,if no results,probably the shutter flex cable is broken in the lensblock,replace or replace the lensblock,labor intensive ,technical skill required ,parts are available at ebay.

press menu then select setup tab(wrench icon) select reset all and then try taking outdoor pics again.( resetting will not delet pictures or videos from camera.

There is a CCD sensor mechanism problem. Go to a specialist to fix it. Is a very complicated procedure and you cant fix it at home.This is caused by the sand and dust particles and many Canon A 430 cameras have this problem.

I'm not familiar with the A430 specifically, but all digital cameras have exposure settings for the type of picture you're taking (outdoor scene, portrait, shadows, etc.). Since you can take good interior pictures, I think you're likely set on a "indoor" or "shadow" setting rather than "auto". Some of the icons are a little confusing but "auto" is the best setting for most situations. If the camera is set to auto already, then I would suspect that the light sensor is defective and contacting Canon Support is your best option.

It is actually CCD Failure !! U ARE LUCKY ! u can get it repaired FREE OF COST from canon just call them on the number if u are in US go to the link below and they will send u postage paid envelope and repair free of cost PLS RATE ME FIXYA for the help dont u think i deserve it

Contact Canon you may qualify for a free replacement.

This sounds like it might be a defective CCD imager. If so, Canon should fix this for you for free, including free shipping both ways. This is regardless of your cameras warranty status. Please check the following two links for more info:
