With you limited query there is only so much one cand advise to do.
1. check all electrical connections including your power strip.
2. Replace electric cord for drive with new one
3. Pull drive from enclosure and see if computer will recognize it internally.
4. If drive is recognized by computer and all electrical outlets and fittings are in good order, your case enclosure needs to be replaced.

My Transcend StoreJet 500GB cannot be opened

Several things could be happening here:
1. your electronic controller in the hard case has failed.
2. you didn't properly disconnect the external hard drive in Windows > with the
"Safely Remove Hard ware and eject Media" in the task bar.
3. if you have a power supply to the USB drive it may have a damaged power connector or not supply proper power to the device.

My SimpleTech SimpleDrive Pininfarina 500GB External USB 2.0 Hard Drive suddenly disconnects a Reconects again....

You may have a power supply that is defective or is failing. Try another power supply, 12V, 2A, center pin positive.

I have my Simpletech 500gb drive pluged in but

Okay, so it should be picking up with that machine. First try re-seating all cables (power and USB both sides) and also try plugging it into a different USB port. Be patient and give it a few minutes to find it. Let me know whether or not that works.

500Gb SimpleTech Ext Drive No Power

Hello.
It sounds like you might have a problem with the power supply.
I have seen MANY external hard drives with failing power supplies. Take it to the store you purchased it from for a check up, it should still be under warrantee if its only 3 months old.
Good Luck!
