Delonghi 4 slice toaster not working on one side

Question moved from Laundry Dryers to Delonghi Toaster.

The most likely cause is a broken element. Remove the case and check with a multimeter.

Kitchen aid 2-slice toaster stopped working. It is plugged in to a good outlet.

The wiring is probably the problem. Check the connections. And then the elements . It may be burned in two.

I have a sunbeam chrome toaster that my mother gave me in the 80's. One of the coils catches on fire if you try to use it. the coil that looks like a spring. Where can I get instructions to fix it or where...

First off...sparking is a warning sign NOT TO USE THIS DEVICE. The problem is, repairing this toaster will cost you more than a replacement toaster. Why spend more money for a coil than a new Toaster makes no sense. For as low as 15 dollars, get a new one.

Only toasts part of bread

The solution I got from the FixYa team was: "Get a new toaster." Which is how I ended up with 4 new toasters that don't work. I'm glad I didn't PAY for THAT answer.
