20 Most Recent Sunbeam 3806 Classic Chrome 2-Slice Toaster Questions & Answers

First off...sparking is a warning sign NOT TO USE THIS DEVICE. The problem is, repairing this toaster will cost you more than a replacement toaster. Why spend more money for a coil than a new Toaster makes no sense. For as low as 15 dollars, get a new one.

I found another site that described the fix. On the bottom of the toaster, after removing the crumb tray, there is a screw in the middle that can be turned to adjust the sensitivity of the lift mechanism. Here's a link to the site http://www.automaticbeyondbelief.org/fixing.htm

I searched the internet using https://www.google.com but did not locate a manual for that exact model.

That model number in that 2013 question appears to be over 10 years old.

Manuals for it were previously posted on the internet, but no longer appear on the manuals site that had them.

Perhaps there is a similar model manual that would help.
