I cannot display either Windows explorer 7 or 8 home page. All the functions (hotmail, favorites, google, etc) work in Explorer 8 but when I try to go to the home page I get "Internet Exployer cannot Display the Webpage. Explorer 7 worked fine until yesterday and I don't think I changed anything, no new downloads, etc. I have uninstalled Explorer 7 and reinstalled it but it was no help. I then installed Explorer 8 and have the same problem. Using Windows XP pro.

Hello

Thank you for using
FixYa for your problem

ok, is it only the Home page not working, if you manually type in a website you do get there page.

I am thinking the Home page link is a old link and now dead. manually type in the address for the home page and see if that works

Please rate our solutions and if you still have problems please call back for more ideas to help you

You don't need a Google icon to get to Google. Just open your browser and search for Google. To set your Home Page in Internet Explorer, see this... http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/internet-explorer/change-home-page#ie=ie-11-win-7

My favorites button has disappeared from my toolbar. I don't know how to retrieve it. What can I do? When I go to my MSN home page, my tool bar that had file option, edit option etc has disappeared and I...

On Internet explorer on the right hand side you should see "tools" click on that button and a drop-down appears - look for toolbars click on toolbars and another menu drops out There you can see all the toolbars the PC knows about and if there's a tick against it - then it should be displayed - if not tick - then click on it and a tick should appear and the toolbar should also appear

I up graded to Ex 8 and now I cannot view my HASP payroll

I have a local user, which uses an online payroll system. It does not work with internet explorer 8. You probably have the same problem. I would uninstall explorer 8 and reinstall explorer 7. If you don't have 7 on your machine, first go to microsoft and download explorer 7, then uninstall 8 and reinstall 7. Good Luck.

I want to set up a list of favorite things on my home page. How do I do this?

If you use Internet Explorer 7 or 8, or Firefox, your browser's "home" page can have multiple "tabs" -- one for each site (Google, Yahoo!, YouTube, et cetera).
