I have a husky 20 gallon air compressor, it tiped over and knocked the capacitor off the motor, and knocked the wires off the capacitor, and I need to know how to wire it back up, it will not run, Thanks

Go to "ereplacementparts.com" for exploded parts and pics. You will probably have to go to DeWalt for a wiring diagram but seeing the simple nature of this compressor any good electrician should be able to work it out.
On 230 volts you have 3 wires 2 are 115 volt and the third wire is ground. As long as you hook the ground wires together correctly the other wires don't matter. Usually the ground wire is either white or green. The black wires are hot (115 volts).
If it is a 220v split unit you dont have a problem you just have to follow the wirering from the indoor unit and you will get the L1 L2 sign on the log or you might see L1 and comp L2 will go for the run side of your compressor from your capacitor and L1 for the common on your compressor but after everything is straight forward
