I have a Logitech z-2300 system. I moved and went to plug the system into my laptop and now I can't get the subwoofer to work. The other speakers work, but not the subwoofer. I checked the fuse, checked the plug in for the system, unpluged and replugged in everything, but to no avail.I have a Logitech z-2300 system. Hello sparkie102
Happy Holidays
you have to check if all the cables are well connected, and in the right inputs. 2) check your software for sound that is enable, fine.
turn up the sub volume , if got it independent.
other that this, is a failure sub. if got warranty, use it! or RMS your sub.

In the upper left hand corner of the screen, type in the model number of the board (P5N-E SLI) and use the drop down to select a category (probably "All"). Good luck.
From the site, select your OS and it will show you the list of download resources for the board. Click to expand the MANUAL and look for the English version.
Provided you have the correct drivers already installed for this motherboard, in Windows XP: Control Panel > Sounds & Audio Devices > Voice Tab > Voice Recording > Drop-down box should have default device listed > Click Volume button > Adjust Microphone Slider After completion, try Test Hardware button...
In the top-left corner, put 'P5N-E' into the search-box, and do the search.
In the next window, click on 'P5N-E SLI'.
Select "Windows XP".
Select the driver(s) that you want to download.
http://support.asus.com/download/download.aspx -select the socket775 option and the motherboard P5N-E-SLI confirm your OS and download drivers as required.
Hi,
If u have been supplied with a driver cd u should probably try running the disc instead of sutomatic driver installation by vista.Or maybe u got the jacks mixed up.
check it out.
Hi ragnar590, Please go over pages 5-12 to 5-17 in your manual. Allow Realtek's auto jack-sensing software to detect your sound jack. If this software is not installed, install it. (Double check your speaker system by plugging into another PC). If after doing all this & you still have intermittent sound, either the jack coming off the board is bad or the onboard sound chip is bad. The Asus P5ND2-SLI was made in 2005 & is no longer in warranty. You can also try setting up the front panel audio coming off the board if your case has front or side audio/mic jacks. See page 2-31 in your manual. It this options works than the problem is with the rear sound jack. If this does not give you sound than the audio chip is the problem. Suggest you buy a PCI sound card & disable the onboard ALC850 within the bios.
disconnect the woofer and connect a different speaker see if other speaker makes the same pop if it don't then the woofer cone is defected if you have high watts and using stereo on high volume you can damage speakers.
