How do I set the tax for dept 11 and so on? - Sharp XE-A404 PC Desktop

I haven't worked with that model but they usually will not print tax unless you set the print options accordingly. Look for a setting called print tax amount on receipt or print tax breakdown or words to that effect. If it is not calculating tax, make sure you have linked the department to a tax rate in dept programming

You set the rate in the tax rate program then you set each department as taxed or no tax. If it is affecting all depts, you need to look up department programming and set tax (usually tax1 to 0 or off) in each dept

go to each dept and change the tax there for each thing

u need to give deed of fund

Go back to system options and print options and select PRINT TAXABLE or TAX AMOUNT

1) Turn Switch key to PGM

2) press the TAX PGM key

3) enter tax rate ( example 6% is 6 , 5.75% enter 5.75

4) press the Dept key you want that tax rate set too .

5) repeat steps 3&4 for diffrent tax rates or depts.

6) press Sub total key to end programming

Do you need to set rate or dept linking? How many taxes and which tax numbers are you using?

If you have a tax rate programmed just enter
00000010071 press the @ key press the dept. key you want taxed and the CA/AT/NS key. All this is done in the PGM mode

move the pgm key to pgm mode 3 subtotal 125 subtotal ( tax table) rate tax and subtotal beginning  level tax ejemplo : for ten cent = 10  and subtotal 5002 subtotal subtotal.
