Keyboard scramble I have an intermittent error when keying text in MS Word or Outlook, using a Logitech cordless access duo keyboard. All keys produce unexpected results. It usually occurs after having hit the Ctrl key. e.g. after using Ctrl← to backspace the cursor. The error for each key is consistent. querty appears as ?,.pyf To date, the only way I have discovered to correct the problem is to exit Word/Outlook and re-enter.

You have different keyboard layouts installed.
Standard: qwerty, asdfgh
Dvorak: ‘,.pyf, adeuid

To prevent the keyboard from unexpectedly switching up on you, open your control panel, select Regional and Language Options.

In the Regional and Language Options dialog box, click the languages tab, select the details button at the top of the dialog box.
In the Text services and languages dialog box, under installed services: select the Keyboard United States-Dvorak service and then click the remove button, click ok, click ok.

Have cordless keyboard EX-100. Keys will not respond. The calculator and mute keys works all other do not. Have fresh batteries and reset connection button many times. My cordless mouse is okay.

You either need to push fn button (upper left on keyboard) or you need to check that the logitech keyboard software (itouch and a few other names i can;t recal) is running or installed. On mine if the software has glitched out, a quick reload of it and it works fine. This software is what is telling your computer what the special keys mean. If this isn;t running it will only be able to understand the standard type of key signals.

Cordless Keybaord - Some keys not functioning

Could be interference from a wireless device using the same frequency. Locate any other wireless keyboard/mice from the vacinity and try it again. Also, push the connect button on the bottom of the keyboard and see if that helps. Also make sure the base station of the keyboard is close enough to the keyboard/mouse.

I AM USING LOGITECH CORDLESS KEYBOARD WITH WINDOWS 7 W/VISTA EVERYTIME I HIT A KEY DOUBLE LETTERS COME UP CAN YOU HELP ME THANKS JOHN

Not sure what to say other than:
1) Driver is installed twice
2) Keyboard keys are not effectively debounced in which case you would need to replace the keyboard

To find out if the driver is installed twice, open up the explorer, right click on My Computer and click on properties. Go to device manager and then go down the list and click on Keyboard. there should only be one driver inside. if you find two and they are identical, delete one.
Good luck

Mixed up multimedia keys

Take out the batteries, replace them, and hold the 'connect' button for 15 secs. Works a charm; the whole keyboard is reset.

Hotkey problems

I had the same problem but finally found a solution hidden in the depths of Logitech. It's quoted below. I had to do it a couple of times before it worked, and it seems that you need to reconnect the mouse at the same time. I didn't the first time and then the keyboard refused to work. (Finger trouble?) :-(

Cheers,
Magani

This article applies to the following products:
Cordless Access Duo
Cordless Acess Duo Optical
Cordless access keyboard
Cordless Elite Duo
Cordless MX Duo
Cordless Navigator Duo

You may be able to reset the keyboard and resolve the problem by clearing the keyboard capacitors. To do this, remove the batteries from the keyboard and type continuously on as many keys as possible for one to two minutes. This action should simulate touch-typing; you should not press and hold only some keys down.
After you clear the capacitors, replace the batteries and synchronize the keyboard using the following procedure:
  1. Make sure the batteries are in correctly. A diagram on the device itself or in the Getting Started Guide should tell you the correct polarity for the batteries.
  2. Press the connect button on the receiver.
  3. Press the connect button on the bottom or right hand edge of the keyboard.
NOTE: If you are using a Cordless Desktop System, you must do this procedure for both the mouse and the keyboard.
The "Connect" button on the mouse is quite small and usually requires a pencil tip or other small object to push it. Remember, ALL Logitech cordless devices will have a synchronization button. If you have the "Cordless Mouse" with Model Number (M/N) M-RN67, the button will be located in a small hole on the lower portion of the back of the mouse. You will need a paper clip to access the button.
