It wont heat up and all the lights just keep blinking

When we plug in the pot it won't work. None of the buttons do anything, the pot doesnt heat up, and the lights just keep on blinking. We bought the pot a while back but never used it before. This is the first time we've tried using it

I have the same problem EVERY time I want to use the crock pot. My solution has be patience. I find that if I turn it on, and the light blinks, but when i click it it will blink on 4 hours, then go back to the blinking light. By keeping the crock pot plugged in and off for about 10-15 minutes I was then able to set the crockpot up for cooking. As if the capacitors inside the unit needed power stored in them from the wall.

You might experience a blinking problem if your crock pot is plugged into an extension cord, then the wall. I've had zero blinks when plugged directly into the wall but it started to with an extension cord.

Take out the insert and remove the bottom plate. look at all the connections. the blinking light is probably a neon lamp and because of the AC current will blink or appear to flicker a touch. if you have a meter and are not afraid of testing with the power ON, measure the voltage going in and out through the several wires inside.

Corningware sc40 programmable slow cooker not heating

If your Corningware SC40 programmable slow cooker is not heating, there are a few things you can check:
  1. Check that the slow cooker is properly plugged in and the outlet is working.
  2. Check the temperature setting. Make sure the temperature is set to a level that should be producing heat.
  3. Check the lid. Make sure the lid is on securely and there are no gaps where heat can escape.
  4. Check the heating element. If the heating element is not working, the slow cooker will not heat up. You may need to replace the heating element or have it serviced by a professional.
If none of these solutions solve the problem, it may be best to contact the manufacturer or a professional appliance repair service for further assistance.

SEL KEEPS FLASHING ON MY HAMILTON BEACH SLOW COOKER, NOT ABLE TO PROGRAM ANYTHING AS ALL GREEN LIGHTS ARE ON AND FLASHING. WILL ONLY SHUT OFF IF UNPLUGGED. IS THERE A TRICK TO RESET THIS?

I had the same issue. I plugged and unplugged the cooker any number of times and pushed every button. Display only showed SEl X. Hoping for a reset, I left the cooker plugged in overnight. It did reset itself and is working perfectly now. The program buttons work, and it heats up immediately. There is no practical explanation or logical steps. I hate throwing things away. Never give up!

3 lights blinking on my sccpvc709-s

Someone suggested there is moisture under the pot. Use hair dryer to dry it up.
Other suggestion is if you press both the (Low/High/Warm) AND the (Off) buttons at the same time, the controls will revert to the proper state

The instruction manual does not say anything. But you can find the Crock Pot number to call.

Green light is blinking, but I am unable to trun the power on.

rival smart pot 38651 crock pot all light blinking
to reset this you need to hold both thye right and left button for 30 seconds. the cause of this is from unpluging the unit when it is on also a power failure will cause this. if this does not work hold all four buttons in. they only tell you this if you get the right person at Jarden Consumer Solutions

All Three Lights Blinking

We have their 6 quart Crock Pot. Same problem cited here!

We have found that, if you press both the (Low/High/Warm) AND the (Off) buttons at the same time, the controls will revert to the proper state. It has worked for us on several occasions so we trust it and have found no "adverse results"!

Hope this is a help to others.......
