please contact your network provider(airtel,virgin),they will tell your puk code and enter it and unlock the phone

if it displays a phone lock, it will either say enter PIN code, enter PUK code, or it will say SIM unavailable please contact service provider. if it says that, you're outta luck. you gotta go to the nearest at&t store and ask for a new SIM card in your name. you might lose some numbers but hang in there! =)
