The camera has a "motion detector". And is generally for taking pictures automatically whenever a "subject", such as wild game, come within the detector.
That flash is for taking pictures of subjects less than 12 ft away and not a darkened area beyond 12 ft.

If you are using it to automatically capture in the evening, then point the camera lower, like to the ground 12 ~ 20 feet away. It will shoot some nice, but somewhat grainy pictures!

If you are holding the camera to take pictures, it wasn't designed for that, but it will work for "close" shots.

As you have not told us the make and model of this camera, nor the subject matter you are trying to capture at night, we can offer little help at present. Supplying this information will help us to help you.

All nite time pics are blacked out what can I do to fix it.

If the day time pictures are good then the setttings for the night shots must be selected according to the light intensity. Please check on the menu for night settings if you are intenting a low light shoot. Also make sure that the flash is active, in most of the present day samml cameras, the flash THROW is low and so the SUBJECT must not be too far as the picture will appear dark. So when using flash in a dark scene have the subject within 5-7 feet as the small flash will not be able to capture the openess. Also you can use a SLAVE flash to counter this and give a better prospective.

When I take a pic the speed to take another pic is slow. Takes about 3 to 5 sec's. how can I make it faster pic one after another, thanks

there are 2 ways.
one is to get a memory card having a very high writing speed. They are classified as Class 1,2,3,4,5,6. An ultra class 6 card will do fine.
Second is to compromise on the photo quality. Keep the photo size low. suppose if your camera can take 10mp shots. You can customize it to 5mp. File size becomes slow and so good writing speed.
During night times photos with flash takes some time to shoot. That depends upon the camera's processing speed.

Flash is'nt working on my Moultrir Camra

There is not going to be an easy fix for this problem. An electronic component is going to have to be replaced. It is easy for a camera flash to burn itself out from dew or moisture condensation inside the camera. All it takes is one drop of water in the right spot when the camera flash is fired, and the 300v tidal wave from the flash capacitor crashes into the sensitive 5v microchips(only 20v is needed to damage them.) I would sell it "as-is" or "broken" online somewhere to try to recover some money.

If the pink & white pics are a small percentage of your photos you should probably just live with it. I have 6 cameras in operation for 2 yrs & they have about 10% like this. Great pics otherwise. Probably caused by the angle of the sun or reflection of the flash off a nearby object.
