you should get a wiring harness to save you the trouble, however i just put in a kenwood in a 1997 thunderbird, if you cut the black wiring cover all the speaker wires are wrapped together and the other wires will be 12v constant acc, ground, etc. here is a diagram Car Radio Battery Constant 12v+ Wire: Green/Yellow

is the CD one that you made yourself or is it store bought? Have you tried other CD's?

If the error message is displayed when other CD'd are tried as well than there is a problem with the CD player. You can try using a CD player cleaning kit. Its possible that the laser head is dirty.

There are two other options if cleaning does not work.
1. you can pull the stereo and send it in for repair or replace it.

2. you can install an aftermarket stereo (usually cheaper)

Buy an aftermarket in dash install kit for it and it makes it a breeze. Less than 20 bucks and worth the money. You will also need a wiring kit also less than 20 bucks. Both of these parts will make for a professional install for trouble free use and ease of installation process. As far as the coolant leak its best to start looking for it when its dry so as soon as you see something wet you can narrow down where the leak is coming from. Hope this helps.

Yes i can solve your problem first you must have the proper radio code 4 numbers and shut off engine and leave radio on with key on accessory with it displaying off leave it the radio on for 3 hours then enter the proper code and it should work fine THIS IS THE FACTORY PROCEDURE

Do you have the original radio out? what kind of vehicle?

if you have not cut the factory connectors off of the car, go to any store that sells radios and buy the connection plugs, they are about $10. the packages list what car each one is for.

If you have cut them, get back to me and i will give you the wiring specs.
