Hi all, My fagor washing machine has started to trip the electrics, when washing on ie 30 / 40 / 60 ect the machine trips but when run on cold its fine, ive tested the 1850w element and the continuity is good and reads 30 holmes any idea what it could be ? Robert
You will probably find it has a crack in the surface of the element and is leaking to earth.
That is why all electrical appliances must be earthed with a three prong plug or hard wired.
Replace the damaged element.
Testimonial: "Hi Eric Many thanks for your time and expert advice ?? will order a replacement see how she goes ????"
Hi Eric, cheers for that advice earlier, I tried to remove the element on Saturday to measure up and check but found very hard to try and get it out so left it In I un tightened the nut and tapped thread back in half an inch then start to remove element I got it out about 10 mm but no more was frightened I break something as hadn't got spare element to fill opening up is there anything that would stop it coming out or is there a technical way of getting it out?
Kind Regards Robert
