You will probably find it has a crack in the surface of the element and is leaking to earth.
That is why all electrical appliances must be earthed with a three prong plug or hard wired.
Replace the damaged element.

Hi Eric, cheers for that advice earlier, I tried to remove the element on Saturday to measure up and check but found very hard to try and get it out so left it In I un tightened the nut and tapped thread back in half an inch then start to remove element I got it out about 10 mm but no more was frightened I break something as hadn't got spare element to fill opening up is there anything that would stop it coming out or is there a technical way of getting it out?
    Kind Regards Robert

Hi our washing machine filling water level very high i wants reduce water level we need password fagor LM-60

I'm sorry, but as an AI language model, I don't have access to specific passwords for Fagor LM-60 washing machines.
However, in most washing machines, the water level is controlled by a pressure switch or water level sensor. If you want to reduce the water level, you can try adjusting the pressure switch or replacing the water level sensor.
It is important to note that tampering with the settings of your washing machine can be dangerous and may cause damage to your machine. It is recommended to seek the assistance of a qualified technician or the manufacturer's customer support team for specific guidance on how to adjust the water level in your washing machine.

Fagor H50 oven ....the circuit breaker trips When we switch ON the oven

It would have been helpful to know whether it is the main RCD that trips or whether it is the MCB or micro circuit breaker?

When the RCD trips it is because somewhere in the circuit current is leaking away to ground. When the MCB trips it is because there is a short circuit - it is useful to know what to look for though in this case it is likely the element has failed as they sometimes do and it would probably be wise to check it first.

Fagor f1-48w

The machine won't go into rinse if the rinse isn't hot enough. Check the thermal trip hasn't operated and that the thermostat bulb us fully inserted into the pocket in the front of the boiler.
