I have a Yashica EZ8032 camera bought in 2007 but hardly used. I have tried taking pictures or record videos but it says "unrecognisable format". What could be the problem?.

Your question is not clear, however I presume you have a newer version of SD card. If you bought the camera back in 2007, SD cards like the Ex-Pro® SD 8GB SDHC Secure Digital Memory Cards will work with your camera. If you insert a recent version of SD card, your camera will not communicate with it.

There maybe some underlying issues but try this first.

Testimonial: "Thanks Willie, Am very grateful for your help. I got to know some of the issues with my camera."

Thank you for the explanation. It is true that I tried filing with a newer version of SD card. That was after the original one had failed, I formated it and tried again but still failed then I went for the newer version. You might be right that there maybe some other underlying issues. Thanks a lot, I will keep searching and if you have other suggestions I will be very grateful.

I have a Yashica,Samurai Video 8 KX-77 Video Camera Recorder when I playback the picture rolls what can I do ?

If you are experiencing issues with the playback on your Yashica Samurai Video 8 KX-77 Video Camera Recorder, here are a few troubleshooting steps you can try:
  1. Clean the playback heads: Use a head-cleaning cassette or a cotton swab moistened with isopropyl alcohol to gently clean the playback heads. Dirty heads can cause playback issues and poor picture quality.
  2. Check the tapes: Ensure that the video tapes you are trying to play are in good condition and not damaged. Inspect the tape for any signs of damage or deformation that could affect playback. If the tapes are damaged, you may need to try a different tape or have the damaged tapes repaired.
  3. Adjust the tracking: Use the tracking control on the camera recorder to adjust the playback tracking. The tracking control helps align the playback heads with the tape tracks for optimal playback quality. Experiment with adjusting the tracking to see if it improves the picture quality.
  4. Test with different tapes: If possible, try playing different video tapes to see if the issue persists. This will help determine if the problem is specific to certain tapes or if it is a broader issue with the camera recorder itself.
  5. Seek professional service: If the above steps do not resolve the issue, it may be necessary to seek professional repair or servicing for the camera recorder. Contact a reputable camera repair shop or the manufacturer's customer support for assistance.

When trying to take a picture or record a movie, the screen is a solid light pink.

try an sd card from another source. the format function of the camera should be used to prepare the sd card for the camera before you take pics with it. this may be a format issue with nintendo. format will erase all images on card, so save them first somewhere else.

I Bought a yashica europe GD-369P camcorder and i think i have paid too much for it. How much is this valued at. I cannot see this model on any website.

I bought a Yashica Europe digital 24 mp camera but it is only 5 mp effective. I don't understand this. Why is it not advertised as a 5mp digital camera? I feel I paid way too much for it because I thought it was 24mp. I cannot find the model on the web. Model GD-298 D. Any suggestions?

Unrecognised file format. How can I recover these photos

Do not take any more pictures, and remove the card from the camera to lessen the chance of you overwriting some important pictures or videos. There are very many freeware software options available to help you recover your files. Please see this article that reviews several of the better freeware recovery programs that you can try (and yes, these truly are freeware). You may need to use a card reader with these programs though.
AFTER you've recovered the photos, format the card in the camera using the camera's format feature to prevent this from happening again.

I have a Memory card in my camera that allows me to save still pictures to it, however, when I try to record video to the memory card it gives me the little yellow triangle and the "in Card...

I'm going to say the memory card first if you have used it before to record video then the card is corrupted and needs formatting to the camera it is being used in. Download your still pictures first then format the memory card. If this is a new card again down load pictures and format the card in the camera. The last possibility is the memory card write speed is slower then the video so no it can't write to it. Sounds confusing but really if the card was working in the camera then doesn't now then it needs to have the memory card formatted.

My camera kodak easyshare C1013 cannot show pictures. it says "unrecognised file format"..i need help

The camera stores the pictures in a JPEG format only. You can use .jpg files in most image editing programs. Videos are stored in a .mov format that you can view with QUICKTIME software or KODAK Picture Software.

* What you can do is transfer the pictures to your computer and check the file format
* You can delete photo then just take a photo again.

Unrecognized file format means the file format of the picture in the camera is not JPEG or the memory card is faulty
