Spray the nuts with WD40 and cover them with clingfilm so it doesn't evaporate. Position it so the WD40 runs down into the threads. Then try again 24 hours later. Fortunately parts are available and there is a schematic here.

I have an acme juicerator 6001 model and I was just juicing... i put vegetables in before it was quite warmed up and it looks like something happened to the motor. Is there a way to fix this?

You may have tripped the reset button on the bottom of the juicer, just push
it back in. They really don't have to warm up, just give it a few seconds to reach
speed.

HOW DO I DISASSEMBLE ACME JUICER TO REPLACE CORD? (CLEAR TOP)

Remove 4 screws on bottom, leave center locking nut and screw
alone, and separate housing to expose wiring. Housing may be
juicy stuck together and be mindful of where everything belongs.
When reassembling you may feel resistance since you will be
raising the spring loaded motor shaft.

I haven't used my Acme Supreme Juicerator in years. How do you assemble the juicer? The flat blade sits on the aluminum filter? How does it attach to the motor? Am I missing a part

Juice bowl first, then the basket followed by the
shredder blade which is all held down by the
white clutch nut. If you're missing the nut ctc.

My Acme supreme juicerator #6001 trips off several times before I can complete the process of juicing in order to get an 8oz. glass of juice. The motor spins smoothly, no vibration at all.

There is a reset button on the bottom of the
juicer. You will have to separate the base
by removing the 4 bottom screws and adjust
the sensitivity of the reset button turning the
small screw on it. Sorry, but forgot which
direction increases or decreases this. Had
to do it on my 21 year old Acme because of
the same problem.

Acme juicer

There should be a lug nut in the center that loosens so you can take the blade, basket & outer basket out to clean.

Where can we locate a parts store?

The cutting blade can be found at http://www.waringproducts.com/ret/.  Waring now makes the juicers.  Good luck!
